Caidreamh na h-Òigridh | Youth Gaelic Weekend in November

November 20 – 22, 2026

Join us this November for Caidreamh na h-Òigridh, our biannual Youth Gaelic Immersion Weekend for ages 8–18!

The weekend offers beginner and intermediate levels, immersing students in the Gaelic language and culture. No prior experience is needed for beginners, while the intermediate level is suited to students with a good foundation in Gaelic.

Sessions use Gàidhlig aig Baile (Gaelic in the Home), an immersion-based teaching method developed in Nova Scotia. Instructors typically begin with an orientation in English, followed by learning through repetition, gestures, props, visual aids, games, and hands-on activities in a fun, engaging environment.

The weekend aims to encourage and support young Gaelic learners, helping them develop their language skills and build lasting friendships.
