As a non-profit organization, the Gaelic College depends on your funding to ensure we continue to preserve and promote Nova Scotia Gaelic culture.
By donating to the Gaelic College Foundation, you are contributing to the important cause we are advancing here with our day-to-day work. Donations from you will be used to improve classroom space, maintain existing facilities, ensure students are provided with the best education they can get, continue to provide the community with access to cultural events, and much more. Please contact us personally if you would like to discuss further options.
Please note, if wishing to receive a charitable tax receipt for your donation, please include contact information in e-transfer note.
The Gaelic College Endowment Fund was seeded in 2021 through the generous support of the family and friends of Nancy MacLean. Nancy was known for her love of Cape Breton fiddle music and for her steadfast mission of sharing the wonderful traditions of Cape Breton Gaelic culture with visitors and locals alike.Nancy MacLean
This endowment fund supports youth in providing them the opportunity to learn, experience and share in these traditions within our educational programming at the Gaelic College. The fund is managed by the Community Foundation of Nova Scotia, a registered charity whose mission is to build strong, vibrant, and diverse communities throughout Nova Scotia by enabling and inspiring effective philanthropy.
