The Gaelic College Endowment Fund was seeded in 2021 through the generous support of the family and friends of Nancy MacLean. Nancy was known for her love of Cape Breton fiddle music and for her steadfast mission of sharing the wonderful traditions of Cape Breton Gaelic culture with visitors and locals alike.

This endowment fund supports youth in providing them the opportunity to learn, experience and share in these traditions within our educational programming at the Gaelic College. The fund is managed by the Community Foundation of Nova Scotia, a registered charity whose mission is to build strong, vibrant, and diverse communities throughout Nova Scotia by enabling and inspiring effective philanthropy.
