Youth Gaelic Weekend

March 1 – 3, 2024

Join us for our very first Youth Gaelic Weekend and learn to speak Gaelic. Designed for ages 8 – 17, this weekend promotes an immersive learning environment which is achieved through fun and engaging activity-based learning. The best part about the weekend is that it’s for youth only! The aim is to bring young learners together, foster existing friendships, and help build new ones. Na Gaisgich Òga/The Young Heroes will also be attending the weekend and will make first-time participants feel welcome.

Students will be divided into two age groups, 8 – 13 and 14 – 17.

Ages 8 – 13 will be taught at a beginner level, appropriate for new beginners and those who have some experience with Gaelic.

Ages 14 – 17 will be taught at an intermediate level appropriate for NGÒ Alumni or high school students that have some experience with Gaelic.
