Sine MacKenzie is a Gaelic speaker, originally from Mabou and now living in Inverness, Scotland. Sine grew up speaking Gaelic in Mabou, studied it in high school and then went on to study at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig on the Isle of Skye and also at Cape Breton University. Sine has been teaching Gaelic for 16 years in Gaelic Medium schools in Scotland and at fèisean in Scotland and also with Fèis Mhàbu. Sine is especially interested in teaching children Gaelic through local context, play and outdoor learning opportunities.
