Darren McMullen, from Hardwood Lands, NS, is a highly sought after multi-instrumentalist. Now performing full time as a member of the band “Còig,” Darren was first introduced to Celtic style guitar while playing at Irish sessions and in various bands on the Halifax pub scene. Being a regular sideman for JP Cormier for 4 years certainly provides a wealth of opportunities to learn Celtic guitar. Being a regular player with David Francey, both in the studio and on the stage also adds to the number of styles Darren is comfortable playing.
