Arisaig, Nova Scotia native Jay MacDonald has been dancing since he was eight years old. Inspired to learn step dancing by his grandparents Jimmy J. and Shirley MacDonald, Jay was taught to dance by Bill Pellerin. A recent graduate of St. Francis Xavier University, Jay has performed at local concerts and events, and the Celtic Colours Festival. He’s also a College and Na Gaisgich Òga alumni, and now featured in the teaching role.
