I attended a men’s breakfast in the basement of a local church hall and was struck by the coming together and details of a morning that seemed without any agenda, no designated speaker, nothing presented for common discussion, not even a prayer. It was just a good morning of good food – bacon , eggs, fried potatoes, orange juice, toast and coffee – and everyone’s obvious desire to be part of the morning.
